Information you provide
Contact, volunteer and partnership forms send the details you enter so YACC can respond to your request. Newsletter signup sends your email to beehiiv to deliver updates. Signing in uses Supabase account verification; access to subscriber PDFs checks your verified email and active beehiiv membership. Verification alone does not subscribe you to marketing.
Browser storage and your choices
Necessary browser storage remembers your language, privacy choice and sign-in session. Visit-only settings support navigation, bulletin return and donation reminders. Optional Facebook embeds remain off until you allow them. Use Privacy preferences to reject, allow or change your choice. Closing the notice does not grant permission. Your choice applies to this browser; clearing storage resets it. Rejection stops embedded players but cannot delete cookies already set by another provider.
External services
The site does not include its own advertising pixels or audience analytics. Hosting and service providers receive technical connection information, such as IP address, to deliver and secure their services. Google Fonts supplies typefaces. Supabase supports data storage and accounts; beehiiv supports newsletter delivery and subscriber checks. Public Facebook photos and video covers are copied to website storage, so viewing those images does not load a Facebook player. Playing a video or enabling the feed connects to Meta, which may use cookies and process visit information under its own policies.
Donations
Opening Donate first shows a choice. The embedded Zeffy form loads only after you select Continue to donation form. Zeffy and its providers process donation, payment and technical information and may use payment, fraud prevention, analytics and advertising technologies. These services are not controlled by the Facebook preference. Payment-card details are entered in Zeffy’s form, not a YACC website form. You may instead contact admin@yaccny.org to ask about another way to give. External links open services with their own privacy practices.
Requests and updates
To ask about information you submitted, request correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, email admin@yaccny.org. We may need to verify your request; some records may need to be retained for operational or legal purposes. Use the unsubscribe link in newsletter emails to stop updates. Do not include payment-card details or passwords in your message. This notice describes the website’s current services and will need updating as those services change.
